Theme: My Country

Outcome: KLPA3 Listen to and identify phonemes in words.

Subject:  English 

Type of assessment: Formative Assessment "Board Comments."

Letting the students assess themselves by writing comments/ thoughts or even their opinions about the lesson. 



Why I choose this Assessment? 

This strategy helps the students to build their self- steam by letting them do their job by writing something about the concept. It is helpful for the students to develop their writing skills and also their cognitive skills by thinking more in-depth about the lesson that the teacher taught.  


Grading Criteria for formative assessment "Raise the sights “ Happy, Sad and Normal."

in this strategy helps the teacher to realize the students if they raised 

Happy face = its means the students had to understand the concept of the lesson. 

Standard face = Its means the students understand the lesson, but they need a bit of offer. 

Sad Face = Its means the students didn't get the concept of the lesson. 






Type of Assessment: Summative Assessment "Asking questions to the students "

When asking questions to the students its Helps the teacher to build the level of student’s learning and enhance success. 


Questions : 

- Can you tell me what's the first sound to do hear at the beginning of the words " Sun, Dog, Fish, etc." 

- Whats the first letter of the phrase " dog, fish, sun, elephant etc? 
- Can you think of another word that starts with the same sound? 


If the students could identify five sounds for each word =  Master Level. 
If the Students could identify 2-3 sounds for some words = Develop Level. 
If the students could identify 1-2 sounds in some words = Emerging Level. 



Grading Criteria for summative assessment "Putting their pictures in the gears
yellow, green and red."

letting each student have their own pictures and put in the different gars " red, green, yellow" and evaluate themselves if they understood the lesson "Green" know some of the lesson"Yellow" and if not "Red."
